Tully – the perfect movie for Mother’s Day

One of the greatest, most real achievements of man is to create life and become a mother.

In postpartum life, women are prone to depression. Tully is one of the few films to look directly at this truth and express it vividly on the screen.
In addition to the birth story, being a mother, Tully can be considered a movie about the middle-aged crisis in women. The older the girls, the more they face the decline of beauty, the health of the poor, the dream of being shelved. How to make peace with yourself, accept the truth and live on is also one of Tully’s main themes.

Movie Summary

Crisis comes to Marlo (Charlize Theron) when her third child is born. The two big children, including one with autism, still need a lot of care from their mother. Her full-time job is busy and stressful. Her husband – Drew (Ron Livingston) is a loving family man but without heart and lack of sharing. All made Marlo almost crazy, choking, exhausted and gradually drowned.

The “lifebuoy” came in the form of Tully (Mackenzie Davis) – who was hired to help Marlo look at the children at night. At first the relationship between the two weird and stressful because of the gap between two generations, two way too much difference.
